Location: Fulton Center Subway Station. Meet inside the doors at the Southwest corner of Broadway and Fulton. From Jorge: “This venue, only a couple years old, and unknown to many people, thus inviting to a fresh look, seeing it for what it is, not what we’ve known or heard it is. More of a discovery. And so powerful in its metallic solidity. It’s like being inside an engine.“

A field-trip workshop geared at documenting a NYC location by way of touchscreen drawings. After an inspirational slideshow, the group will identify key aspects of the chosen place and will set work individually in a series of quick descriptive sketches. Those will be immediately compiled at an online visual report of that environment. Final location is still being determined.

Who is this for:
People who don’t draw professionally but are not afraid to try. That’s more important than skill or experience.

What’s required:
A smartphone or tablet with a drawing app you have used at least a couple times and are comfortable using. It’s not about learning an app, it’s about working with it.
