A hands-on session on how to use visual storytelling to explain complex investigative stories. We'll cover how to visually identify insights, how to design layouts that make something complicated easier to understand, how to lay out an argument with graphics both on your website and across social media. Come ready with a complex story you want to work through, and be ready to draw.  
 
Who is this session for:
Anyone at any skill level who wants to learn more about how ProPublica thinks about telling visual stories, especially when tackling complexity — and anyone who is excited to actively try sketching and coming up with ideas of their own.
