Visualizing Data with D3 FILLING

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity filling up

Description: D3.js is one of the most powerful data visualization
libraries out there. Newsrooms around the world use it to build both
static and interactive graphics for the web (and for print!). This
workshop will walk you through the fundamental what, why, and how of
using D3 to turn your data into rich visuals with HTML, CSS, and other
acronyms. By the end, you'll have built, broken, and unbroken several
D3 charts. If you have a project in mind, or a dataset you want to
work with, bring it along!

Who is this for: People who've worked on some interactives and web
visualizations and want to take their skills to the next level.

Prior requirements: A working knowledge of HTML and CSS, and some
JavaScript experience (i.e. you should understand the basics of how
functions, variables, loops, and arrays work).
